Very good pictures! Nice streetscape pics, shows how clean Chennai has become (really, everywhere). There used to be cows, cowdung and garbage everywhere, now they've cleaned up everything. And nice to see that the bus in that pic isn't titlting one side and doing a balancing act :lol Looks like slowly the MRTS system is working! Nice new towers too.

oh, just found out Chennai is Madras!! no wonder i've nerver heard it before..

anybody can tell me when and why change the name? what is the meaning behind those names? i know mumbai also has old name as bombay....is there any change of the meaning? guess not....imo, bombay sound better....

btw, hope chennai can recover from the tsunami soon....

The Koyambedu Bus Station

One of the largest in India. Located in the suburbs on Chennai in a once marshland near the Coum bank it is now buzzling with activity, still no good pics of it though
