Lots of supertalls are built in seismic zones. The first was the US Bank tower in Los Angeles, that was passed by Taipei 101, which was even damaged by an 8 earthquake during construction, but it survived just fine and is now the current WTB. There is an argument that says that you are even safer in a really tall building than a midrise.

what are you talking about??? Hollie Mae said it already: there are hundreds of thousands of towers on this world, it is simply normal that some towers are similar to each other !

You are so right, is like if you find a person that's look similar to another one, hehe well there are thousands of millions person. I think that in some case buildings are similar just for coincidence.

Yes, the shots from above do discribe the size of this project, at first i was wondering "why so many cranes", but now (from above) it's eazy to understand why, this is a massive project. (and also a very siesmic minded)

Yes, views from above helps to see clearly how big this project is. It's impressive how enormous is the area of the whole complex, that includes 4 towers within the 6 level mall... That's why you saw many cranes. The seismic design of this project can be watched by everyone, when I watched it I got stunned with all that steel bars frames.

Thanks for your opinion
