Thanks Mate.

Repost because of the change of page

Updates 27-july-2008

Hi buddies:

Brand new fresh images of construction works of "Costanera Center", where the most important thing is the progress of Tower 2 (300m), that it seems to get faster rising than the lasts weeks updates. Surprisingly the other towers of this complex are really behind, showing an almost zero progress, with the same formwork seen 1 month ago (tower1), and the central core reaching ground level (tower 3).

It will be a spectacular scene, when to the end of this year the tower 2 gets more height than its neighbours (WTC and other towers), and its cranes appear dominating the skyline.

Hola Foristas:

Wow, nice updates Javier!

Costanera is beggining to rise, not as fast as I wanted to, but considering the HUGE site it is on I´d say the pace is going at a normal rate.

BTW Titanium Portada is getting huge! Lots of cranes there, rising pretty fast too.

Hi all.

Views from today Sat. 02-08-2008, taken this morning on a trip to the San Cristobal Hill. It takes a lot of time to see completed this complex, but now is easy to watch towers 1 and 2 rising with its formwork and its tower cranes.

The city has the most beautiful setting of all cities I have seen so far in South America!!! From far away you have a better comparison of the dimensions of that tower! Amazing!!!

Updates 24-08-2008

Hi people, I brought new updates of this complex with pictures taken at dusk of saturday at 19:00h. It is good to mention that "Tower 1" has more progress, showing 2 floors over the ground level. The "Tower 2" (300m) has definitely taken off, reaching level 11 in its central core, there are also installated new construction hoists and the formwork of the first floors has been dismantled. The "Tower 1" has reached first level over ground, and the hotel tower is really delayed.

Great pictures Javier !! The "Tower 2" is begining to take shape. Looking close to the pictures is easy to realize that this is the most seismically active country on earth. Just check that rebar density on the concrete. Is not easy to build such a skyscraper here!
