A new update from this huge complex, the Grand Costanera Tower, or tower 2, it's now reaching the 9th level and it's about to reach the height of the WTC Santiago, next to Costanera Center.

Enjoy.

Updates 05-octubre

Hi

Pictures of progress of Costanera Center from yesterday. It is important to mention the new formwork for perimetral beams that will be installated around the floors of the Tower 2, as far as I know the new formwork will be a climbing system just the same kind of the formork of the central core, that it means a faster rising of this construction, because the speed seen untill now is really slow. The Tower 1 shows more progress reaching its 4º floor over ground level. The Tower 3 is a little bit behind but it is starting to show perimetral columns. The overall of this complex looks great and updated by far, at least is how I see it from outside.

Holas

The investor of this huge complex it's one of the biggest chilean retailer companies, Cencosud, which has many department stores, supermarkets, home stores and malls from the north to the south of Chile and other countries like Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Brazil.

i think not so much, becuse, 2 of the coplex tower have stopped their construction, and tha big one is slower, the details of the mall complex (first 7 floors) have alse been stopped... all this because the USA financial crisis, the investor (Cencosud) is waiting a couple of months the situation get better.

In fact, the Tower 2 (300m) of this project will keep under construction as it is scheduled. Towers 1 and 3 (41 floors) will be stopped untill financial conditions go better.

Regards
