Southern Cone is going ahead on LA not by casuality, so we both are doing well, one more slowly than others, but well :P
about the companys here, you are correct, it's happened to me, but I hope it's change during the next times, there are signals.

about the tower, I didn't know Pelli was the architect, it's good to see his towers, are sober (it's the word?) but very modern, having a little diferent touch that make wonderfull, in this case that bevels and the top look great
Nobody says that coming out of lethargy automatically requires the 1 peso=1dollar fix in Argentina! Coming out of lethargy also means competitiveness = the free movement of your own currency, which is exactly the opposite to what you just mentioned. I am always suprised, why the argentinian government obstacles argentinian companies at the moment they want to export or grow... the govt keeps all companies small in Argentina, when they have so much potential.

Just check for the list of global players in the latinamerican companies, Argentina is way back considering it's economic potential. We (Chile) are a quite small country compared (we have third of your population) but strangely we have much more transnational companies.
Not that this fact is only positive (it has also its negative sides), but a balanced mixture of both would be quite good, otherwise foreign big players end up buying everything on sale within your country...

I love the clean seperation of the financial district (Providencia and Las Condes) behind, and the upper middle income residential borough in front (Providencia or still part of Recoleta?)

It is Providencia and it is called pedro de valdivia norte, besides of being a residential neighbourhood there is a lot of small bussiness and restaurants using those houses.

Have they started cladding the tower?

Kurtkoto, are you saying that you know that they've started cladding the tower again (a few months back they did about 1/4 to 1/3 of the 6th and 7h floors, plus one window on the 17th)?

I seriously don't know why they are taking so long with this. Does anyone know from construction experience if there is any benefit to waiting? (I guess you don't need to clad until you have tenants moving in...)

Lastly, on what floor is the core at now?

It is at the 57th floor, 233.25 meters tall, next core floor at 237.35 meters..

The core roof will reach 271.5 [m], greetings...

They allready have started cladding for a long time, but they are doing it really slowly... so you can´t officially say they´ve already started.! Nobody knows why they need so long with the cladding.!

I have seen that you make excellent fotos in the other forum on your bike excursions.

Maybe you have an opportunity once and then to share with us.
