Coth why don't they open Myakinino when it's fully finished ? Why to rush ? When will it be fully finished ?

I like the glass turnstiles. It gives them a much more open look.

So Aras Agalarov is the private investor in Myakinino ?

He isn't complaining about English, but the fact you simply cannot see the very valid point he was making. Which is simply the trains are different because that is how they were specified by the respective operators to suit TWO VERY DIFFERENT operating environments.

Arguments about which is better is simple pointless and a waste of time and bandwidth.

Well I find them nicer as the backrest is higher and the ergonomically shaped, it really is more comfortable to sit in them after a hard day then it is on smaller chairs, but as I already said, that's not the issue, the seating, style of seat, placement of seat, size of seat etc.. is all up to the customer and not the question here. What I was talking about were other features such as lighting, material, ceiling, design (interior and exterior) etc...
And I was answered already. Exterior is just ok, just nothing special, but not outdated. And very very good among major metro system. Just second to London Underground.

Interior is all modern. Lighting is very good in trains - warm and bright. Materials of course all fully modern. Ceiling is limited by tunnel diameters and platform level standard (standard russian gauge countries have 1,1m tall platforms to 0,7m in standard western gauge countries), just like in London Underground.

the problem is that he is not only making straight points, but also unintentionally adding very controversial points that we are arguing with.
So, as I said interior is fully modern with one exception to your shots - it's practical, reliable and efficient. Exterior is ok.

In addition, in the concert hall of this shopping-center are scheduled many show-programs for the future holidays. Therefore, it was so important for Agalarov to open this station before the New Year.

As it can tell, this experience with financing was not so successful. I hope that this example will forced management of the Moscow Metro to applies with such business-projects more carefully in the future.
Why is not a successfull investment ? Because it's not finished yet ?

As long as it get's finished I don't have a problem with that.

AlekseyVT
the main reason is that there was simply no time to complete interior. it's still planned to be completed. they will complete cladding without interruptions in service.

But this station really is one big nonsense. There are very dirty, very cold (there is metrobridge in few metres from station). Nobody know, will be this station is finished in the future and how it will look. This is the first time of such disrespect for passengers.

Even stations, which was built and opened in the years of Second World War, did not look so pathetic!
Agalarov is just an idiot then.

81-714/81-717 .6 modification is now in service. This series might be most successful ever metro cars. It's in serial production since 1977 and being used in 18 metro systems.
.6 is a scratch built modification (seems like there will be no .6K, which are refurbished/rebuilt original 81-714/81-717).
As 81-76x series are not ready yet this modification was quickly built in order to replace outdated cars on Kalininskaya line produced over 30 years ago.
