People have been orderly evacuated from the stations where blasts occured but there was not panic or and stampede of any sort. Fewer than normal people have seen in metro the same and next day (by about 1/3).
I'm talking about this video which appears to be Komsomolskaya (Ring) station. Which is at a station on a line unaffected by the blasts.

I guess this video is the answer to your questions.

This human traffick jam shows what happens in Moscow if a subway line is suddenly shut down at rush hour. This is certainly not normal number of people at the station.

I suppose if explosion were inside such crowd, there would be more injuries.

Which lines were closed? I thought it was only the line that was attacked.

Komsomol'skaya KolL. I suspect a change to Komsomol'skaya SL was closed. Passengers weren't able to change. There is an only exit was opened. Also those who are using Komsomol'skaya SL used other routes to finish at Komsomol'skaya KolL. Usually only 2-3 cars in the train on KolL are full. Back then all cars were full.

Mobile antenna. Mobile phones works even on under construction stations. Some sources says MTS only. Some says all the Big Three.

There are some available technologies to transport the signal into the system. In Moscow we have special antennas on stations, even on under construction and abandoned for private purposes for workers, and a special emissive cable in tunnels.

Of course it's fully separated from Metro communication networks. They works on own technologies, so even in emergency situation it won't be affected by private calls.

Speaking of mobile coverage in Moscow Metro. The coverage in tunnels is not 100%. All stations, expect few newest are covered. There are rumors that the Big Three negotiate on a single shared network.

Mobile coverage per operator maps thank to pMetro program
a good program with almost all metro and rapid tram networks from all around the world

Beeline

Megafon (rapidly building its network in metro and catching Beeline)

Moscow really understands the value of good infrastructure, and I love em for it. I also hope they never stop with the beautiful stations.

Also, I'm really surprised that people can easily go down there and film stuff. I was always under the impression that subway constructions are something you can't easily watch, but I may be mistaken.

scaffolding isn't mean to be a high quality steel as it's temporal and will be removed

He wasn't talking about the scaffolding, he was talking about the beams.

Who says that people can easily go and film construction? I am sure it has been specially arranged.

Tubing you mean. Then it's the cast iron, not the steel.
