Wish I could. Everything on the web site works except for the floor plans and the location map. Don't know why those two pages come up blank.

Looking at all of the brochures and the Burj Al Alam web site, I don't understand the basis for the repeated claim of "world's tallest commercial tower."

There are at least eight buildings farther along in construction that will be much taller than this one. Is there some loophole the Burj Al Alam people are using that I don't see?

Even Burj Al Alam is not pure office building. The top floors are Hotel just like in Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai ... so yeah it is BS from the developer.

but that just looks hideous
this tower was going to have the most beautiful crown ever

To me, it looks as if the crown (especially the petals) is made of glass. Is this the case or will it be covered in that traditional, non-glass fašade that is so common?

The second pic from imre`s update remind me to the Chicago Spire. But the hole around is many times larger! Dubai rulez!
