"Rising beyond 480 metres into the sky"... keep that in mind. It's probably going to be more than 480 meters and we UAE forumers are hoping they cross the 500m mark.

I'll repeat that one: cooling efficiency

Anybody that discounts its importance has not experienced 50-degree weather. :p

Also, high-rise developments allow for more efficient transport networks in the future. Nobody says Dubai has to stick purely to cars.

Which is bullshit anyways since it about 1/4 of it is a hotel and serviced apartments.

I wonder who the architect for this is. I'm liking this tower more and more and I think it's as good as some of the best supertalls going up worldwide such as SWFC, etc. I know burj dubai is just around the corner but I doubt it'll go unnoticed since everything about it screams landmark.
Something else I like is when certain skyscrapers wouldn't fit anywhere else other than the city they were designed for. This is one of those buildings. The only other place this would fit is Las Vegas, would make a nice LV type uber-hotel if built there

Can't wait until some highres renders come out

How is the design unrealistic?
ITS NOT...
Obviously it can be built no problem...so its not like its unrealistic in that way, and Aestheticly its not unrealistic. Its a very beautiful tower, i havnt seen anything as nice looking in a long time.
Maybe you have different tastes in what is a good looking tower and what is not..so what..that doesntmake it unrealistic..
please, tell us whats so unrealistic about it.
