the kpn building in rotterdam has such a lighting effect but not with that much detail. The lights are bigger

im not sure about these new designs>

architects seem to be getting lazy and just sanding of the cnrs of square buildings and saying how wonderful there design looks. these two towers look like they have survived an earthquake with sides falling away. sorry

What I don´t understand about this project is the necessity of those huge transversal beams. C´mon we´re in the 21st century, couldn't the engineers come up with a different solution. It seems silly to have those beams obstructing the view. Still one of my favorite projects though.

well, the proposed freedom tower in NY kinda look like "they have survived an earthquake with sides falling away" if you ask me, and its better than just two plain box anyway.

They may be alternating floors. Perhaps some floor plates serve a reinforcement function and some do not.
