Good question, but I'm guessing they're a bit ahead of schedule & leaving it there for any last minute hauling job is good planning decision by the project leader. Japanese project teams are world famous for meticulous planning!

Not much change recently, so not that much to update.

Great pics! The sheer height is incredible. I'm glad I made the extra journey from Yokohama to see the Sky Tree in May - as I jokingly told my girlfriend: "It may be the tallest thing you and I will ever see in our lifetime!"
