Since what, 7-8 years ago. Not alot of new construction, because they are renovating first, once all the renovations are done we should get alot more "new" stuff.

if ur asking have they started the renovation yet....no.. but they have found a developer from ohio (that's the pic from what his architects designed). He plans to turn the upper part of the hotel into condos. I hope and pray that he goes through with this all they way, unlike that lady from Houston, Texas that was gonna renovate it before. She was supposed to have it done by the time the super bowl came... but she backed out of the deal because she didn't have enough money as she thought she did.

It would be fantastic to see Michigan Central bought back to it's former glory, it would be a real symbol of the renaissance of Detroit.

I thought the hotel was supposed to be on top of the parking. Since when do they want a horse racing stadium?
