It is a bit LBT-esque, but that is probably just becaus it is designed by a London architect. It is very impressive, the on ly thing I dont really like about it is the crown, it looks abit 'flat' i suppose. But other than that it's great!

I really like the design. Sure, the pyramid shape isn't new, but it's nice.

I really cant understand when people say a pyramid shape for a skyscraper is unoriginal- I can only think of this , TransAmerica in SF & LBT in London that are this sort of shape. How many thousands of boxed shaped skyscrapers are there in the world!!- lol

LBT was designed by an Italian architect who's working and living in Paris...

Yer, Mr Renzo Piano, what a legend! But you can't really blame Newcastle Kid for saying it was Foster's, cus that dude is practically building the entire world at the moment! I mean, look at the millau viaduct, one of the greatest structures France has ever produced...designed by a Brit...we have to do everythin for ya don't we

LBT imo is quite a bit better then this new Russian tower thing, but it still looks magnificent, and I hope it gets built!

Actually, that's funny, because the latest big bridge built in England (Second Severn crossing) was designed and built by French companies; your High Speed Line, CTRL, was designed by French companies, and French companies are deeply involved in its construction (I'm myself working on it).

Concerning the Millau viaduct, it was designed by a French engineer, who was my professor, Michel Virlogeux (who also designed the Normandy bridge, and the Vasco de Gama bridge in Portugal). Foster was here to add a big name to a big project, but everybody know that no bridge of that length can be designed by an architect...

Sorry for this little Franco-British break, we can come back to the subject: Foster's tower in Moscow.
