I hope that someone some where is doing a timelapse film so that when this beast of a building is complete we can sit back and watch the whole edifice come together in a minute or so! Perhaps one of the locals could take pictures regularily from a consistance viewpoint to build this up? Anyone doing this?

amazing to see, that even at a fraction of its final height already looks like a high rise, at its current height, it could be many cities highest building.

The opera house won't look like the one in sydney but it's a similar sort of idea I think

It's amazing that what we see is less than 1/4th it's final height. Looks massive already.

I agree that the removal of the formwork on the right side of the building does seem to indicate that we have reached the first setback. But isn´t the first setback supposed to occur on the 18th floor (maintenance floor) of the outermost section (the one with the rounded columns)? If so, could the removal of the formwork have another explanation? Maybe as the slabs have catched up with the concrete walls they don´t need a hanging formwork anymore. Maybe from now on they will use a different type of formwork using the slabs as support. Maybe they are discontinuing the concrete walls on the last floors of that section and substituting it for thinner walls or columns or steel. Don´t know. But the first setback, where it is, doesn´t seems to be in accordance with the renderings.
