This advertisment appeared in todays newspaper for a new tower called, The Skyscraper at BB. Says it will be launched soon.

Anyone else think this will be a supertall due to the full page ad?

a 25 storey tower called THE SKYSCRAPER would be ridiculous!

I'm actually hoping for a good number of 50 to 60F buildings in the future so that the area doesn't end up as a sea of small towers with a few that are 3 times as high sticking out. There needs to be some more buildings that'll balance the whole thing out. For example I don't really like this image:

I like this though. Of course it needs some Dubai-ing up. Add a few supertalls, get rid of the boxiness of the designs and there you go:

More towers like Vision tower is what I'd like to see

malec we already have 5 towers in the ~200 to 300 range i'd say.

so that is not too bad at the moment, add one tower being 600m, some 300 to 500 (7 or 8), and the rest 40F or less, that would be good i think. and there will be at least 10 of those 200-300m towers as well...
i think BB will be the perfect mix.

hmmm the website doesnt work, is this common in Dubai you pay so much for an advert and the first point of contact ie the site is down , shame really, at this rate we might get a 2 storey office block lol

First thing I thought of was STR's render of fordham spire. BTW have you guys seen his 3D render of Chicago? It's some of the best work I've seen. If someone could do the same for Dubai
