This needs to be moved back to the BB thread as ground work is clearly taking place here.

Their main website is very poor - they dont even have floor plans posted up yet and the other site: www.the-skyscraper.com still has the same holding page from a year ago.

Its a shame as the builing is nice and pricing is quite good but the lack of info on the website doesn't inspire much confidence. Do these guys not want to attract any investors?!

This project has been sold out 2 years back, the main concern here is to build it.

Office space pricing for Skyscraper currently going for as low as 1700AED psf, most likely due to the uncertainty of the project. Risky investment but the rewards could be handsome if the project gets back on track.

I know people who has bought for 1100/sqft 2years back. The facts is Al Attar purposly delay on construction so people cancel their agreement and ask for refund.

Al Attar must have thought that hell had come when RERA came in.

RERA are now mediating all refunds in Dubai (not anymore through the developer).

Investors who cannot afford to carry on paying their payments to developers due to the delays are negotiating market prices to get out of their contracts.

Its a bloody good thing in my opinion.

I dont understand why this site is not fenced off and closed with a gate. Its open and accessable from 3 sides. If you look at projects which are on hold they normally have some kind of fence with a lock. Waiting for the next stage in the construction schedule.

The shoring and pilling company have pulled off site and the place is a mess. Paper work just in piles on the floor, maps and plans everywhere around the site. Normally the shoring company would do the pilling as well.
