thanks for the photos. Is it safe now to walk along the kurilpa park area? I recall there were a few homeless camping out in that area back 20 months ago when I was walking along the riverwalk with my boyfriend. And a few months after that, there was a murder committed by some homeless at night. Therefore I never walk there again. It seems that lots of gentrification is going on in the ex-industrial part of the kurilpa park public space.

Sadly, I'd have to say no, there were about 15 homeless looking people who were drinking grog in the park area before the bridge. I wouldn't walk along there at night.

Yeah first date... walked from kangaroo point cliffs right the way through southbank to that park... poor lighting and homeless everywhere. Not expected.
I love what they are doing to the library along the river frontage.
