It's not that expensive... but maybe you like buildings when they look like that:

Honestly said, things can be worse than that.....it doesn´t look perfect but as long as it is clean...I HATE broken roads and dirt to the max, that´s why I would put a super heavy fine for throwing anything around, just like in Singapore.

No, it is not I could show you many of these building that look like that yes, in the First World, too.

Skytrax, believe me it is cheaper to have a non-centralized AC...although it doesn´t look nice all the time...nevertheless, to put your mind at rest, all the new buildings and towers have centralized AC in Luanda... but you have to pay for that...because equipment is expensive.

These ACs are not that bad, they are not an eyesore.

I didn't say it is cheaper. I just said it's not that expensive. A least for people living in these houses in Luanda. Such a house in Luanda can cost more than a million and you are worried that the cost of a simple centralized AC? Common...

Dusty roads and those types of AC give a city a 3rd world look/image and I hate it.

Just saying...

On this matter, Moz is not on a better path.

No it's not. That's why I complain all the time. I want that major fired or else.
But there are some areas in the city where you won't find dust and such...like where I used to live.

I stick to what I have said, centralized AC is anything but cheap..even when you are rich....rich people in Nigeria or Germany don´t have that...only the super-rich or commercial properties like malls, banks, hotels etc.!

And those houses that I posted don´t have such a bad look with AC hanging outside...those houses have been fixed, given a new life and added to the Luanda´s urbanity with its distinctive characteristics.. what would you have prefered, see them rotting away??....Really, we are discussing trivalities, if the AC hanging outside is the only thing to complain, then it is not that big an issue.

Skytrax, I strongly doubt that many houses in Portugal have a centralized AC as you claim. I did not see that when I was there

Anyway, back to the pics...I have got recent ones to show.

I can't, unfortunately it has happened since yesterday, some of them ok, but the most no.

I don't think centralized A/C is that big deal! Many people can afford it in Angola, moreover I think it is not that expensive otherwise my apartment would not have it.
