Miramar looks good, interesting real estate. I wonder where in the city it's located, I'll have to observe the city with GoogleEarth if I want to know it's exact location. Good pics Matt.

the fence at the botton marks the place of a new 26 floor tower (Hotel President second tower perhaps) going up near Total and Sonamet buildings; just a step from the Luanda bay

The fence close to the main road marks the place of a new hotel building going up (possible sheraton). On the back the ESCOM Tower (will have 26 floor, about 150m high)

Sonangol E.P Tower (future headquarter) from the way coming of Josina Machel Hospital. The little building with green glass windows is the BESA headquarters building.

on the back, the glass building is the "Edificio Vernon".
the fence at the botton near that susuki car is where the project "Torres do Carmo"(two tower complex of 22 st high, wich comprehend aparthotel, comercial area and offices; also a garage) gonna be built.

Hammelkar, Thank you soooooooo much for having us share these pics! Great great stuff happening in Luanda!
I love cranes so much and even the more when they are conquering Africa´s skies! Three Question that keep on occupying me What about Luanda Bay reclamation area project, is it gaining shape (slowly)? And what about Luanda Sul? Luanda World Trade Centre are we talking of this two tower project that has been proposed in at the end of 2005? ![]() I have read that one can see the entire project when completed on an exhibition in a hotel of Luanda whose name I have forgotten! PS: We need to put those pics on the thread which I have created on General Photos! |
