Europe's First Vertical Theme Park (140m) - Birmingham City Centre

Midland's Today mentioned a new vertical theme park which is going to be built in Birmingham. Apparently the official announcement is tomorrow. The scheme will cost £60million, will be 140metres tall and will house a restaurant at the top.

Post news tommorrow hopefully.

Nah... no sale.

I think we can afford to hold out for something that looks a bit better than a ride extracted from some middle east theme park

Looks interesting, but it's EXACTLY like the Stratosphere in Vegas.

Agree!
It's really strange one... They could put some imagination on the design.

Comstructions due to start in August.

Wow! does it have ski-runs and everything? Its not verticle cause the one in Brum has 5 rides 3 of which are direct free falls plus if you had a verticle ski slope it would be a bit pointless would'nt it

Howcome itsays only170m? is itbeing built soon?

Yes with 5 rides, but will be built so the rides canbe replaced when needed to keep up with times. the rollercoaster one sounds cool but the 500ft seesaw has attracted me most lol.
