After seeing that model I am starting to really like this one. It is a great filler. Elegant but not overstated. I like how the facade continues into the smaller section.

It's a nice building, but the bulging bottom annoys me.

It's not the best design in the city, but if the cladding does turn out this good it will be a welcome addition to the cluster

Cant understand this talk about needing understated fillers in the skyline. It would be one thing overcrowding the area with over-complex shapes that competed for attention, but what we currently have are not; they are clean, simple silhouettes that are distinct. Where else in visual art do people think like this? 'We need plain, boring paintings in this gallery so the interesting ones stand out'. No. London needs consistently interesting, creative designs that compliment each other. An striking, unique skyline is nothing to be ashamed of

Personally, I don't see 100BG as a filler. I know it may look like one to some, but I think that it's cladding will be extremely good quality which will make it really great. I also like the design, and it's really needed to balance things out a bit. But that doesn't make it any less special! Defo superior to most 'boxy' skyscrapers worldwide! (Or at least thats what I believe by the renders)

I completely agree. This will be one of the towers in The City that will be a bit "Boxy" like the new Gotham City development (40 Leadenhall I think) - these towers are really needed in the square mile for there to be a decent skyline.

It isn't a gap filler, but rather a statement that London can build even boxes in a unique style.
