The Ryungyong Hotel in Pyongyang almost fits this bill. It was almost completed, but construction was halted before it was finished, and so it still sits, an unfinished, windowless shell, at 105 stories.

I quite liked the London Millenium Tower it was this tower that got me into Skyscrapers.


Of Course it has the Swiss Re building in its place now.

Grollo tower -Melbourne (first design, not the horrid redesign)

Weston Tower - Toronto looks quite cool
