Your Own Stadium Design

This thread will talk about the design of their own stadium, or if they haven't designed their own before, what they would include in their design.

My new stadium would have a fully retractable roof, retractable walls, retractable pitch, moisture sensors to activate the roof, leather arm chairs with a persoanl video screen attached to each arm of the chair, walls coloured a bright pink, the pitch would have a deep ditch running along the width of the centre line, where the players have to swim across a few feet to get into their oppositions half, rotating tiers so that everyone has a chance to enjoy a different view...that's what I'm thinking anyway...don't go nicking my ideas and patenting them as you're own for Foster to build!

I designed some stadiums...

Made out of Carboard and Bluetac...I was just bored and made them....they've been In a box for months and just decided to take them out today to show you lot....

Please excuse the quality

The Original...

The first stadium I ever made, I made it because I thought the lid of a McDonalds drink would make a great roof for a stadium!

The roof is made from the bottom of a pop bottle!

A Baseball Park....Garciapara is the only player I know

Volkswagen arena, I lost the roof, and the side also has toothpick supports based on the design of the arena in Atlanta!

I had run out of ideas for a stadium name and saw my EpiPen....and ta da!

Was originaly an indoor arena...seating was based on that of the Mellon Arena, Was too big for me to make a roof!

This one I made about 10 years ago...Foster and Partners stole my design. :innocent:

If I was to design a stadium...I would have to be big and noticable.

I'd want it to be world famous for it's design, before a match as even been played in it yet.

I have this crazy idea of creating a new institution to join the Big Ten Conference. That school would be called Missouri A&M University. (The A and M stands for Agriculture and Mechanical.) It would be located outside of St. Louis. As with the other 11 members, there would be a (American) football stadium. It would seat 55,000 seats. It's general shape would be that of Crew Stadium, in Columbus, Ohio. In the endzone that has less seats, a 29.25 by 104 foot video screen will anchor the scoreboard. That's basically it.

BTW, here's the seating chart of Crew Stadium:

This is a rough model I did in 2002 for a redeveloped Members Equity Statium (formerly Perth Oval) in Perth, Western Australia. The Blue is what was to remain of what is currently there. The Model was designed to seat 60 000 for Rugby and Soccer. The unusual shape is a result of the stadium being built to the corner of the square. I also wanted a hint of industrial Art Deco in the facade in reference to the near by heritage listed East Perth Powerstation.

for the new san diego chargers (symbol is a lightning bolt, also nicknamed for the short the bolts) i was thinking atop one of the sides of the stadium a big tesla coil that shoots lightning from spheres along the roof safely. like the pic below. what do you think? i think it is a good idea, and unique.
