Sunshine Coast United Football Stadium (SCUFS)

Capacity: 26500 (23500 seated)
Teams: Sunshine Coast United (fictitious), Sunshine Coast Falcons, Sunshine Coast Fire

Stadium is currently under construction, it is expected to be opened on May 15, 2009. It has 4 function rooms (images included) and 4 restaurants installed already. All seats have been installed as well as both scoreboards and the away stand roof.

Great work, i love what you did with the roof. The only thing needed there is some fresnel reflection (a bit of glossy too) on those chairs to better simulate plastic (if they are plastic of course)

With some improvements in the chairs rendering it would be a very pro render. Nice!

Theres probably no way this idea would be feasible... Theres a 50m drop behind the stand to the right...

A SCUFS update

Roof added, structures and facade coming.




NOTE: I am reformatting my computer today, it is likely that i will not make the 15 May opening date, which i guess is realistic since no building ever really opens on schedule lol.

A little background on the design, it's not yet added but will be later, but the roof features shutters to incorporate the good natural breeze the sunshine coast gets and to keep the air fresh and temperature cool. It's likely to also feature a sort of retractable roof over the most part of the stadium, for indoor events and weather protection during summer.

I added a new main stand to my stadium, it is substantially bigger than the others and has been giving me real headaches with the roof design. I am still not happy with it but it is a work in progress.
