I designed this stadium to the specifications of what the Durban Council wanted for the 2010 soccer world cup
We also have our own "Design Thread" in the SA forums, your'll should have a look there It is a much realistic vision of modern stadium design, not too over the top like the last one I have deisgned. It is a 100 000 seater stadium, which can be converted into a 85 000 seater stadium by means of the air cushion seat system, as Mo has pointed out in the Sta Denis. It also has two temp stand on either end of the field, which can be removed & erected when ever pleased. A 4 level parking lot joins the main stadium to the indoor arena, which seats 15 000 people, & also houses the museum on ground level. I took alot of insparation from the Stadio Drago in Porto, Portugal for this design, with the huge covering over the sides, when looked from the side, it looks like the roof is wings. The main stadium also boasts a state of the art press box, which has 2 conference rooms, commentators box, for 7 different languges, & viewing deck. Anyway here is my Stadium! Stadium in Athletic mode with temp stand Stadium in soccer mode with out temp stand Arial view of arena, with & with out roof Elevations of the stadium View of Stadium with & with out Temp stand Stadium view with out Roof, with one showing the Athletics mode & the other soccer mode Position of stadium ![]() Heres a section of the arena, showing the museum.

help
I have a great idea for a arena. It has two decks. The first one has 20 rows and 2nd has 22. In the arena the is a flat top over it the a curved over that would help the flat roof up. seating would be about 15000 i'm thinking. every 20 seats would be stairs to climb up. This would be used for basketball hockey and arena football sorry for no picture
p.s looking for investors

People always complain about the bad sight lines and the huge amount of space betweens fans and the pitch in soccer stadiums with tracks around them... and they're right. My stadium would have a track, but the seats would cover it up for football matches, so the crowd would be right there by the players. And when the track was in use, those seats would be removed or retracted. The new front row would be outside, say, lane 8 or 10 of the track. It would be probably a good 10 feet up, but being up like that doesn't affect the view too much for track... like in the photo below:
