but you know what would be really neat? To illuminate the 4 towers and the green glass of the roof...just an idea

Nice job Giorgos
Normally I don't like straight edges mixed with curves on stadiums but you've put them together well. What's on the outside of the corners behind the glass? are they lift shafts or stairwells? |

This is a design which took me about 2 hours. It's complete with a skyscraper (of course) which is actually a massive car park. The top is illuminated at light. The skyscraper deisng was quick and realy is crap.
The train station is huge and has two main platforms. A bridge crosses it in the middle connecting the main station area to the stadium. There is a large screen next to the skyscraper which will show adverts plus any matches, however barriers will be put up along the platforms to stop people falling on to the tracks. There is a little road which lets in a the player's cars and team coaches plus any VIP vehicles. This is next to the main viewing area where all the fans who do not have tickets can watch the match outside on a massive screen. The entrance is curved and is for entrance into the other areas of the stadium which do not connect to the seats. Fans can enter at all places of the station. Hope you like ![]()

I would hate to be somebody:
- sitting in one of the seats behind the ends which just face across the grey D at other seats. - parked at the top of the skyscraper car park!

as [Gioяgos] calls it, the "prison stadium"
the cage is made of steel, & the gaps in the cage will be covered with a perspex material, which by a flick of a switch will automatically tint to allow shade for the fans (dont ask me how they gonna do that, its just what I want!). & can be switch back to transperent, this unique feature will aloow more natural light into the stadium allowing for a better playing surface. the stadium has 3 sections, the lower bowl, the upper bowl & the quadrants. the lower bowl will have a glass facade around it, it will house offices & shops, & provide ramps to reach the upper bowl & entry to the lower bowl. Access to the upper bowl will be from the lower bowl by means of ramps. Access to the quadrents is from the upper bowl (its a long walk, but the view will be worth the walk) Its a funny stadium, similar to the design in Beijing, only they didnt have the balls to put the quadrents in . The roof will open & close & is also made from steel & will have the same perspex cladding with that magic tint on it. Well enough talk , heres my stadium! Elevations of the stadium from the different sides Stadium with out the roof Stadium with out the cage & roof Stadium sitting on its proposed site in Greenpoint Cape Town with roof open This is so cool!!! An animation of how the stadium will be built!!
