It is construct by the Dong people.
Dong is a national minority of China.
It is completely built by the wood rivet joint, without any nails.

WoW! China really has the worlds greatest engineering projects today. You so lucky!!! Pics are awesome.
Maybe 1 day will be bridge from Dalian to Yanatai, or Xiamin to Kaohsiung! something like that. China seem ready to push the engineers limits nowdays.

yes, they are. most of the bridges are part of some expressways. expressways in China are all toll road so the the bridges are not free either.

this one is free though,

Jiaolongba Bridge, on the famous tea horse historical trail
project start 2003, finished 2005.8 bridge span 345m, sea elevation 3050m

Wow! I didn't notice this amazing thread until today! you are great, guys. Go on!

Only a suggestion... Most forumers don't know where are located most of those bridges, and you didn't provide that info in some cases. Could you add it, please?

Now, some bridges of Chongqing!

Other HUGE bridges in addition to Hangzhou Bay and Donghai bridges.

Qingdao Bay bridge, u/c (35.4 km). There is a 8km tunnel u/c too

Second Hangzhou Bay Bridge, u/c (13.6 km)

There are two other main projects scheduled. They may be tunnels though. One will link Fujian and Taiwan and the other will link Liaoning and Shandong along Bo Hai.

Nation of mega bridges, indeed.
