Looks like it is picking up speed a little since a few months ago.

Great photographs.

I remember when the West Kowloon Highway was completed way back in 1997 and it looked so empty. With all the construction underway, it looks like it is well positioned to be one of the main arteries for HK's infrastructure.

^ Great diagram! Could you add the CN Tower and SWFC too? I believe the CN Tower's observation deck still pips Taipei 101 at 447m (438m for Taipei 101's top floor) and I think ICC will also have a higher top floor than SWFC too. I never knew that the rooftop observation deck on New York's former World Trade Center was higher than the Sears Tower deck.

here we go....

More informations about the World highest Hotel on ICC:

-)Three fine-dining restaurants will be complemented by The Lobby Lounge and Bar.
-)Meeting space totaling 1,200 square meters, including a grand ballroom of 640 square meters, will offer customers an array of choices from board meetings to social functions.
-)An indoor swimming pool, complemented by an outdoor swimming pool, set high atop the hotel.
-)A world class spa and wellness center will occupy the top floor, offering a unique vantage point for Ritz-Carlton guests.

Superb effort! Thank you very much! I didn't know that it would be possible to visit the top of the SWFC's hole.

1) There is no universally recognised star rating system for hotels the world over.

2) The myriad rankings that do exist award 5 stars as their maximum - not 7 stars.

3) The Burj Al Arab in Dubai awarded itself the accolade of "the world's first 7-star hotel". It's nothing more than a publicity boast.
