I agree. Think it would look better with the top lit (I'm sure that they just haven't got round to it) and to use a white light instead of a neon yellow... Didn't think Union square would look this good at night though! Did you know that the Waterfront (the shorter towers) actually have blue lights on them. Don't know why they don't turn them on though. They looked real hot when they did!

The top of The Arch is occupied by private penthouses, I don't think they would put big lights up there.

Now that is HOT!!!! So much better than the yellow. Still, the top isn't lit properly arghhhh.. Can't wait to go back in Aug to take some pix and to check out the new temporary promenade. Am thinking of getting a new digi SLR too =P I want to spoil myself rotten!

I've seen the Waterfront's recessed bits lit in blue. Some on the sides, some on the face. If you look closely at the facade, you can see the lights. It's been a while since they were on though.

I'm sure that the additional crane will enable ICC to grow faster. Is completion for phase II still set for 2010? Surely it won't take 4 whole years to complete this!? Could it be that the developer has recognised the heightened rental prices and is aiming to reap more profit by speeding up the project?

Even though the property market is hot right now, the sector is cyclical. Oftentimes buildings are conceived when the market is hot when there is enough leasing activity to get financing. By the time the tower is done, the upturn part of the cycle should be done and prices relax.
