That's along the lines I was thinking - just wanting it to be confirmed by someone 'in the know' though.

Indoor working of Floor 10 to 22 will be finished by 2007 , that's what Phase 1 is.

That's one of the most impressive Union Square pictures I have ever seen. The angle was perfect; you have all the tallest buildings in the picture !! When I was staring at the picture for 10 minutes, I was also thinking that it must took you quite a while to find that perfect spot to take the picture to get the angle just right !

I LOVE IT !!

And I think they should build a special viewing platform on the spot where you took the picture. That's the perfect spot to view the entire Union Square !

I already think that 3 Years for working on the interior construction for Floor 22 to 118
is a very long time.
Because for The Shanghai International Finance Center i donīt hear about such a "Phase"-based Completition Plan

2 IFC was also completed in phases. The lower floors were open for inspection and ready for lease while work was still going on to build the higher floors. It's a good way to bring in some cash as fast as possible even though construction is not yet complete.

It's hard to imagine that US 7 will be almost as tall as two Sorrento 5's stacked on top of each other. That's insane.

So if you stack two Sorrento 1's you'll get 1682ft (512m) which will clear the completed US 7 by 94ft(28m).

Stacking two Sorrento 5's would get you 1392ft (424m) with US 7 clearing them by 196ft (60m).

So anyway, US 7 is gonna look pretty tall when it's completed.

Actually, FM2258 is right. If you don't count the podium, ICC is as tall as 2 Sorrentos stacked on top of each other. See this diagram:
