Nothing exceeds like excess.
But this is nowhere near the excess of the Dallas Deathstar. Gonna be some hardy souls sitting in them uppermost tiers. Still a great stadium to watch football in, the sort of joint that makes a hipflask fashionable. |

From the US american football stadiums this is one of my favourite.
It's simple not clunky and looks like it could create a great atmosphere. But the expansion looks terrible. |

They should let that new upper tier encircle the perimeter of this stadium.

We'll see, the entire state wants tickets, so I think they could definitely sellout a 90,000-100,000 stadium dependably. Not a fan at the moment. It could look pretty good if they continued the series of small upper tiers around the sidelines, but I have no idea if the structure is built to take additional seating.

Well..... I really don't think he has to explain much.
Compare this: ![]() to this: ![]() Cowboys is a billion dollar BEAST! What they're doin' in Green Bay right now is just adding on to what is still a pretty modest stadium.... well, as modest as an NFL facility can be. |

There's nothing modest about Lambeau except the bleachers to make you think its modest. The multiple tiers of suites should tell you that. This expansion looks like the not so modest expansions colleges have been doing for years for not so modest reasons. Sorry, I don't buy it when a billion dollar corporation like the Packers try to play the modest role.

Lambeau's still the oldest and still has mostly bleacher seats, as if it were a college stadium. So I guess I should put quotes around "modest". But you get the idea. |

Love the historical pictures earlier in the thread. A great example of a how a stadium can evolve and grow over decades without demolishing and starting again. When I see stadiums in England with piecemeal "stands" being demolished 10-15 years after they were built for something supposedly better it makes me wonder about owners of these clubs vision and planning for the future. Nice job!
