The developer pulled the planning application, and demolition of the site began and two days later halted.

Does anyone know when the two tower blocks close to the Greenway on the opposite side of the road to all the developments featured on this thread were painted? For those who don't know them (and perhaps Metroranger might have a pic?) they are painted the same insipid shade of light blue that adornes council doorways across the land, with each block separated by blocks of primary colours.
Obviously someone thought the design would compliment the Icona building across the road. Neighbouring councils have managed to repaint their tower blocks an unobtrusive white, but Newham Council (now taken over by arms-lenght management Newham Homes) always has to be different. Many blocks feature the balconies picked out in the same shade of pink used in the Newham logo. Why do planners see this as a good thing? |

would anyone have any info for the "Station House" ? im looking for images of the inside and the floor plans for this soon to be demolished building, along with the proposed scheme for the use of this plot of land? would be really helpful if anyone can direct me to a place where i can get hold of these info. thank you all in advance.
