Looks great! The Grande Arche's shape is perfect for such shows.

New Department of Islamic Art Opens Tomorrow at the Louvre
21 SEP 2012 by Karissa Rosenfield

wenty-four years after the inauguration of I.M. Pei’s glass pyramid, the Musée du Louvre will introduce its second piece of contemporary architecture to the public, tomorrow, on September 22.

The new Department of Islamic Arts is designed by Milanese architect Mario Bellini and his French colleague Rudy Ricciotti, who won the commission through an international competition in 2005. Similar to I.M. Pei, the pair created a naturally lit, subterranean gallery space beneath an undulating, glass roof within the courtyard of the historic Cour Visconti. Continue after the break to learn more.

Excavated to a depth of 12 meters (40 feet), the 2,800 square meter (over 30,000 square foot) open-plan gallery will become the new home of the Louvre’s prestigious collection of Islamic Arts. The gallery’s lower level and long sculptural stairway are comprised of a special black waxed concrete, providing a stark contrast to the seemingly floating glass roof and the nearly invisible glass perimeter walls.

Paris is a city of the future, constantly looking for ways to modernize itself and implement the most advanced technologies to make life in Europe's biggest city easier and to offer the Parisians the most ambitious services. It is in this context that the City of Paris undertook a global reflection process and it the end, 40 innovative projects have been selected, and for 6 months, prototypes will be spread out all over Paris.

Here are some of the projects already implemented:

Smart bus shelters - connecting the travelers to the transport network and giving them the most updated infrmation.

Augmented reality panels - Panels that can move 360 degrees and that give information about the area in augmented reality

Digital Information screens

Multimedia Landmark to guide and inform in the cemeteries

Multifunction automobile outlets

An article in French regarding these projects
Quote:

“French romances occupy a central position in the development of medieval European
literature. Their most popular subject matter by far was the Arthurian legend, which, though it
had its origins elsewhere, was first cast in romance form in France: the Round Table, the
tragic love story of Lancelot and Guinevere, and the notion of the Grail quest were all French
innovations."

Nope. 193.05 meters according to the very detailed architectural plans I've had in my hands.
