Centre Orthodoxe Russe

Quote:
Russia and France have formed a joint working group to examine the proposed construction of a Russian spiritual and cultural center on the Quai Branly in Paris, announced Monday the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"A joint working group of Franco-Russian was created to monitor the project spiritual and cultural center of Russian Orthodox all key stages of the process in order to verify if it meets both the expectations of the Federation Russia and the Russian Orthodox Church, on the one hand, but also the requirements of French law in the field of urban planning and heritage protection, on the other hand. The first meeting of the working group took place March 5 in Paris, "the ministry said in a statement.
In spring 2010, Russia won the tender for the acquisition of a plot of 4245 m² at the corner of quai Branly and avenue Rapp in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Russia intends to build a cultural and religious center that includes an Orthodox church, a seminary, a library, several multipurpose rooms, housing for seminarians and a garden. In March 2011, an international jury awarded the project to a team of architects led by French and Russian Spanish Manuel Nunez Yanowsky. The work will be mainly financed by the Russian state and the Russian Orthodox Church.
End of January 2012, Russia submitted an application for a building permit from the Prefecture of Paris. However, the mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoë has criticized the project and opposed its construction on a site inscribed by UNESCO on the World Heritage List. Russia withdrew its application for a building permit in November 2012 in order to make the proposed site meets the requirements issued against him.

Digital Economy: Paris and San Francisco get closer

The cities of Paris and San Francisco have signed a three-year partnership in the field of the digital economy on the theme "smart city".

The merger, which was announced some time ago, has finally been formalized: the mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoë and San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee, have signed a cooperation agreement on the issues of the digital economy and smart cities.

Both cities will thus work hand in hand for the deployment of new technologies in areas related to urban planning: management of pollution, waste, traffic, energy or mobility.

They will also both "guinea pigs" for studies and experiments conducted by the National Institute for Research in Computer Control (INRIA) and the Center for Information Technology Research in The Interest of Society (CITRIS), University Berkeley.

Urban business

The big winners of this combination may be the start-up of two cities: it will benefit from a bi-location in Paris and Silicon Valley to try to penetrate the U.S. and French.

Bridges between the two events high-tech cities (Futur en Seine in Paris, for example) will also be possible to optimize their international visibility.

Yes, the glass veil was beautiful

But the mayor of Paris thought this project undermined the consistency of Parisian urbanism, maybe the golden domes were too much "tape à l'oeil" so close to the Eiffel Tower

I'm afraid of having a banal project, Orthodox churches are always a little flashy, it would be a shame that the parisian one be ordinary.

Paris: Caisse de Dépôt du Québec invests in Duo, Nouvel's towers

CANNES - The Caisse de dépôt du Québec announced Tuesday it had signed an agreement to purchase the building rights Duo, the two towers of 175 and 115 meters from the architect Jean Nouvel, the first that should rise into the sky of Paris from the Montparnasse Tower in the mid 70s.

This investment of several hundred million euros is still subject to the condition precedent of a premarket half of the 105,000 m2 included in the program Rive Gauche, in the east of Paris, told AFP Meka Brunel Vice President Europe of Ivanhoe Cambridge, the real estate arm of the Caisse de dépôt du Québec.

It is interesting to prudently invest against the cycle, said Ms Brunel, not afraid of the challenges currently facing some tricks to find tenants for Defence, northwest of Paris, the most important business district the capital.

The two towers might emerge between 2018 and 2020 depending on the date of obtaining the building permit, says Brunel who made this announcement during the 24th MIPIM, the world's largest market for real estate The company, which takes place in Cannes.

Both towers have new rules constructability, as intended by the mayor of Paris, Bertrand Delanoë, established by the new planning regulations in November 2010 that the ceiling is 180 meters in some buildings at the peripheries of capital, such as projected new boulevards between the Marshals and the device.

The two towers, which will be subject to a public inquiry because they exceed the 50,000 m2 with 91,000 m2 of office space, 4,500 m2 of retail space and a hotel, according to Catherine Beylau, director of development Semapa (research firm, control of work and development of Paris), a company in which the city of Paris majority.

Le Grand Paris facing a mountain of rubble

The equivalent of 5-7000 Olympic swimming pools: the volume of land and spoil the gear of the future site of the Grand Paris Express, Ile supermétro whose construction was confirmed by the government on March 6, should extract bowels of the Ile-de-France between 2015 and 2030. $ 15 to 20 million cubic meters of inert waste (which do not undergo chemical changes, physical or biological with time) or polluted land that will be added to those already produced the building industry and public works (BTP).
The Ile-de-France may face a shortage of solutions to get rid of this type of waste that can be recycled, reused or buried in storage of inert waste (ISDI) or in quarries with a authorization for it. "If we do not open new ISDI meantime, those existing today will be filled in 2020," says Anne-Sophie Kerangal responsible for waste management to the Regional Council of Ile-de-France.

In the Paris region, the construction sector produced 32 million tons of waste per year. Volumes extracted to construct 200 km of channels - mostly underground - and the 72 stations of the Grand Paris Express 2030 should weigh 30 to 40 million tonnes, according to Société du Grand Paris (GSP). A total undervalued, according to the association Ile-de-France Environment, which is rather between 50 and 60 million tonnes.

The regulations, the responsibility for the management of spoil returned to subcontractors on site. But given the size of the project, the client what the SGP can not ignore the issue. The construction of the A86 in the west of the Ile-de-France, was an unfortunate precedent: lack of good planning, its cuttings eventually form embankments (levees earth and rubble) which bristle Today the plain of Versailles.

"They are called merlons filled: junk inside and good soil over, laments Riottot Michel, President of the Ile-de-France Environment. According to our calculations, the debris of Greater Paris Express represent the equivalent of 200 km of embankments. "

This is not the option has retained the SGP. His blueprint spoil disposal, being finalized, favors treating contaminated soil on-site recovery and reuse of excavated material on other development projects, as well as inland waterway transport of inert waste to of ISDI or careers that may possibly be located outside Ile-de-France.

"LE GRAND PARIS Expresss MUST ALLOW TO DEVELOP THE RECYCLING OF BTP"

"Our goal is to anticipate the most often neglected in order to minimize disturbance to local residents and to be able to work upstream with elected officials on evacuation routes, says Florence Castel, Director of Engineering Environmental SGP., we launched in 2010 an inventory of processing facilities and storage could accommodate our rubbish in Ile-de-France, but also at its borders. "

5 to 6 million cubic meters of rubble that would occur from the construction of section 2015 of the Grand Paris Express train linking the Pont de Sèvres (Hauts-de-Seine) and Noisy-Champs (Seine-Saint -Denis) and in part will be evacuated by two platforms located transhipment river Seine, Sevres and Vitry-sur-Seine (Val-de-Marne).

This material may take the direction of quarries in the Yvelines and Seine-Maritime, but also serve as backfill within the eventual realization of a lake reservoir to protect the Paris area flood in La Bassée (Seine-et-Marne). 700 000 to 800 000 m3 of fill would be required for this project could be completed by the end of the decade.

According to Florence Castel, anticipation should optimize management costs cuttings, but also to address concerns in the region to ensure territorial balance. Seine-et-Marne in effect today absorbs 65% of construction waste in Ile-de-France and hosts half of the twenty ISDI the region. A situation that led a dozen elected department to report in early March, the lack of solidarity from other communities. "Le Grand Paris Expresss should be a lever with the rebalancing treatment as local as possible, as it is expected to develop the recycling of construction waste in the region," says Geneviève Wortham, Regional Councillor (PS)-Seine et-Marne.

The Environmental Authority recalled in October 2012 that the treatment of cuttings will be "a major impact" Grand Paris Express.

The basement of the Eiffel Tower built for visitors?

Paris City Hall studying possibility of arranging the basement of the Eiffel Tower to improve the reception of visitors.

With Notre Dame de Paris, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most visited monuments in France and the capital and the most visited paid monument in the world! Each year it hosts more than about 7 million visitors, most of whom are foreigners. For the moment, the curious who wish to see or climb our Iron Lady queuing outside, rain, snow or shine.

To overcome the lack of a hall worthy of the monument inscribed with the other Parisian monuments on the World Heritage List of UNESCO since 1991 (and historical monument since 1964), the city of Paris for several board months on a basement project, which would include the cash, but also a museum dedicated to Gustave Eiffel, a cloakroom and a children's playground. The project will facilitate access for people with reduced mobility, modernize space and enrich the visit.

According to Le Parisien, the City of Paris and will pay 254,000 euros to a study by the group Marsh.

Eiffel Tower: a study on a € 254,000 home tourists in basement

The Iron Lady might lose its coffers in the wind! Ticketing installed on all four feet of the Eiffel Tower are indeed on the verge of disappearing in favor of a new venue for tourists ... buried and warm.

The mayor of Paris has awarded a consultancy of La Défense, the group Marsh, the realization of a "technical and financial study" for "the development of access and basements" the most famous French monuments.
ON THE SAME TOPIC
"This project responds to a request" to avoid waiting in the cold boxes Based on the results of the tender that we procured, the city will pay € 254,000 for this study.

Behind it lies a sea serpent For over twenty years the government considering to improve access to the monument, which extend to all weather endless queues.

During the Chirac era, there was talk of an underground bury the old lady. The experts also thought to drill malls in the Champ-de-Mars, and more recently, to create access to the site from the banks of the Seine, when the river banks will become pedestrian ... Alas, the networks RER along the river have made the idea impossible.

Which are working on the project for a year the services of the municipality is more realistic.

It would, according to our information, dig a large lobby on one level underground. Tourists find it a one stop shop for buying or withdraw their tickets, souvenir shops and restaurants, a small museum of the Eiffel Tower stands renting audio guides or instructions luggage - it does not exist the moment in the tower.

"It was intended to 500,000 visitors, it is now home to 7 million: the queues are unavoidable. Our goal is to make them more attractive and intelligent, "says Jean-Bernard Bros, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of tourism and president of Sete, the operating company of the Eiffel Tower.

As the Empire State Building in New York, animations and movies on the monument could be projected to tourists while they wait before their trip by elevator. "If we create spaces where hanging after the tour, visitors will spend more. More visitors are fixed, the more it consumes, says Jean-Bernard Bros. These new revenues are expected to absorb the work envisaged. '

The amount could amount to "hundreds of millions of euros," believes a close case. The achievement of improvements - and investments that go with - be included in the specifications of the next concession to the Eiffel Tower, in preparation for 2015.

Eiffel Tower: line equity financing.

The Société de la Tour Eiffel, Listed real estate investment company (SIIC), announced the establishment of a line of multi-year equity financing with Keple ...

The Société de la Tour Eiffel, Listed real estate investment company (SIIC), announced the establishment of a line of multi-year equity financing with Kepler Capital Markets in the creation of bonds issued in tranches exercisable at the request of the Société de la Tour Eiffel.

This line of equity financing will enable the company to provide additional resources to continue its program of investment in existing assets, including its Massy site while improving its capital structure and minimizing dilution to shareholders .

The Group has no obligation to draft and intends to use this funding line if the stock market conditions allow its use in the best interest of the company and its shareholders.

The right to issue shares subscribed by Kepler will be exercisable for three years at the request of the Société de la Tour Eiffel, in increments of a maximum of 75,000 shares.

The total number of shares that may be issued at the end of three years will not exceed 600,000, or 9.8% of current capital.

For each, the issue price will depend on the share price at the time of printing, less a maximum discount of 4%.

A shareholder holding 1% of the capital would move its participation to 0.91% of the capital when printing on the entire line.

First draft : the basement of the Eiffel Tower (by SEARCH)

Agence d'Architecture SEARCH Project

Source : http://www.urbanews.fr/2013/03/18/30...s-en-sous-sol/

The basement has two levels and could bring boxes currently installed at each pillar of the Tour, a luggage room, a museum Eiffel, a children's area and many amenities for a better reception of visitors, who sometimes have to wait long hours in queues sometimes zigzagging haphazardly.

I hope they will build it just under the center of the Eiffel Tower, at the middle of the dome underground we would view this :

While 57m higher, there will be a transparent floor around the void of the first level

Maybe a new development of a French monument à la Pyramide du Louvre, pray for this. The most visited monument in the world deserves it
