Notre-Dame de Paris is far from being the biggest/finest Gothic Cathedral in France. You'll find a huge amount of better ones in cities +/- 200km around Paris like Rouen, Orléans, Reims,Amiens, Beauvais,Bayeux, Laon... cities where gothic architecture started.

Anyway, i would love to see that project done (if not too expensive) even if the top may look too new and the bottom old, which would be odd.

Actually, Gothic architecture (once called "French Style"), started in St-Denis, few km outside the Paris walls by then. Followed among others by Notre-Dame de Paris (started in 1163) which is one of the oldest 100% gothic cathedrals in the world, if not the oldest (at least of this size), and was the largest one BTW when it was completed a century later (short-lived record though).

The examples you picked are "much recent" (if I may say so), and were built or completed in what we call Rayonnant style, if not Flamboyant style, that late gothic styles didn't exist yet when Notre-Dame de Paris was designed/started.

The density of La Défense still amazes me.
The area of Trinity seems so tight, it reminds me my first sod-oh, well ...

La Défense nowadays ...

Little operations in Paris by Estourbi

Programme Esprit Sagan, rue du Cherche-Midi, 7ème arrondissement:
http://www.domneo.com/immobilier-neu...n-K1388412839/

http://www.lamaison14.com/presentation.php

Gallerie 14, avenue du général Leclerc, 14ème arrondissement / U/C

Recapitulatif:

This stadium reflects in its own way a kind of french classisicm and grandeur, even though some may find it a bit brutalist
