I'm very excited with this project, it will be a great sight while driving on the Péripherique. Perfect in this area, far from the old Paris.

As you can see on the map below Triangle 2 will certainly not soil the haussmanian part of the district

Oh, great then!

.....But what if I live (& own a flat) in a non-Haussmannian building but still ""soiled"" (polluted) by this horrible and fat thing? What are you going to answer me then? That since I'm (my case) not on your map so I don't exist? (come on, give me a break please! )

Well that's a ridiculous expectation you have, if EVERY project has to appeal to EVERYONE, then nothing would ever get built.

I would understand the complaint if this building caused a real nuisance such as casting a huge shadow over a whole district... but Triangle has been designed and positioned in such a way that its shadow is cast almost entirely over the 'parc des expositions'. So, the only "nuisance" that remains is simply based on your aesthetic preferences (and it is practically impossible to reach a consensus on aesthetics).

I'll just say this tower has been designed to be as unobtrusive as possible from the haussmanian side, and especially not to block solar light.

And anyway, when you buy a house i am not sure you sign for a non moving district during your stay in this house: this a risk to have erections of new building, especially in this very touristic distric (and by touristic i mean professionnal tourism as the exhibition center dominates the area.)

I understand some people are scared about new projects and/or highrises, but you cannot stop the development AND the future of the exhibition center just because of fear.

My "" reply was about the ridiculous & Minatoesque (if I may say so ) last sentence of your previous post (essentially saying: "no Triangle=no development=no future for Parisexpo' center, [blahblahblah; #fear]") LOL.. So please tell me now who are the most scared ones here in fact?

Because to me it seems obvious that is you and the 'Minatogang' (and by a country mile), I mean according to such posts/arguments of yours at least.

Except this building is of high historical or aesthetical value, and I don't see anything of that kind in the area, it will only gain value from neighbouring something like Triangle. So... polluted?? You gotta be kidding.

Since I will personally see that ugly thing (if it get built) from my flat across the Seine River, yeah indeed I want to believe that I'm still free to call this Triangle thing 'pollution' if I want to, whether you like this term or not.

Thanks.

Oh sorry my lord. When I said there wasn’t anything of high historical or aesthetical value in this area that might be disturbed by Triangle, I obviously forgot you. Please pardon me.
Well, I am sure your great-great-grandfather took a good shout against this horrible Eiffel Tower, like many of his fellow citizens. How wrong they were.

are you insane ? this tower will be erected in front of the circular ring road/freeway and as far as possible from the historic center.

the london eye is situated in the center of london in front of westminster : congratulations !!

Yes this Triangle Tower take active part of the future of Paris Expo, and its development.
It's not a question of a tower or not (but if you see just a minute the size of the plot, Triangle's shape is highly efficient )

Why? Because its development is currently on its road and build by Unibail Rodamco, which includes a major extension, modernization and digitalization of the Porte de Versailles site.

Triangle will follow this extension and bring new hotel rooms to host visitors of exhibitions, start-up incubator to be closer as possible on potential exhibition customers, congress center etc, and thus improve global attractivness of this center.

Saclay, top 5 or not (says who, besides?), who would like to end up somewhere so remote and so far from the center?

Also, what is "top 5 worldwide", and according to whom ?
