Okay, so here is a picture of Paris nowadays:

And here is the same picture on which have been added T1, Granite, Generali, Morphosis, New Axa and Majunga. The two other towers we've just learned about should be located on the left of Generali (the one with the tall spire).

Thx Metropolitan!
Wooo! what a skyline Paris will have in 2013! Fu**ing polluted but still cool !

That's a view from the south isn't it?
Sorry to ask again but could you try to make a view from the Champs Elysees? I Think It's the view people know the best!
And could you try to add Ferrier's Hypergreen too?

This Hypergreen is such a piece of art!!

But the Ferrier's project for la Défense don't exist. It's a proposition for the "Tower phare". there is only a rumour for a project of 400 m tower.

Really ?
I read somewhere in this topic that Ferrier's project would maybe be chosen as the new Signal Tower as Thom Mayne's Project has been chosen to be the new "tour phare"
But maybe i misunderstood stg

Not really.

Now only the "tour phare" is certain, anything concerning a "tour signal" are speculations made by forumers, there is nothing official.

Many of us think that indeed these two towers are not the same and that, maybe, a higher tower will be built on the left of the Grande Arche after 2013. Nothing more.

This is not just speculations Virtual. The director of La Défense Authority (EPAD) announced during his New Year's speech the construction of a "tour signal" which apparently is different from the "tour Phare". Re-read post #694.

There would be such a huge difference to the LD skyline after all those projects are finished...

A smaller project has been unveiled today for Saint-Denis, near the Stade de France in Northern Paris. Three towers of 60, 80, and 100 meters.

Here's the translation of the French article:

Quote:
ParisObs
N°314_2207
Week of the February, 22nd 2007

9-3 stars

Building towers ? Central Paris hesitates but the inner suburbs rush forward. On March 6th, the departemental commission of commercial equipment in Seine-Saint-Denis (93) will give its advice on the proposal of a 3-star hotel (64,000 m²) which would be built beside a new convention centre (23,000 m²) which is planned for Saint-Denis, nearby the Stade de France. Three highrise buildings of 60 meters, 80 meters and 100 meters of height should host 1,250 rooms. The Architects Reichen & Robert have imagined dark façades, in patinated zinc, with tainted glass windows. The concept comes from Berlin where Ekkehard Streletzki, the manage of the Estrel Hotel, has conceived a place where CEO's book in the same time convention centres and hotel rooms for the seminaries. The boss from Berlin has chosen Saint-Denis and its stadium for a second site, after having firstly though about London. Stéphane Peu, vice-president of the communauté d'agglomération, says : "This centre could simultaneously hosts the French movie award ceremony; a business convention and a large audience TV show." The complex could create 500 jobs directly. The neighbourhood should also welcome soon new TV and Cinema studios.

Wow, 60, 80 and 10 meter high? Amazing!
I'm just joking but I wait for renderings, because I hope they won't screw the northern landscape!

64,000 m²!!!

It is a bit high for a 100 meter tower
per comparaison for the T1 tower 185 m It is 63,000 m²
It will be a fat tower.

64,000 m² are for the the 3 towers altogether. Not only for the taller one.

We'll se what the futur gives us, but I'm not that enthousiast about this project, and it seems like it is the first time Reichen and Robert are doing something of this magnitude. (but hey, the grande arche was designed by a newby architect as well!)

Superb rendering metropolitain. Je te remercie. The best of the newcomers are Granite and T1. I am not wholly convinced about the supertalls. For me La def is better at 200 metres but we will see. With Granite, T1 and the new AXA it would be a superb skyline in my avis but with the supertalls? does Paris need a trophy?

Belgian forumer Jef mentioned in the French forum this interesting article from the latest edition of Places & Spaces magazine, a magazine published by Union Investment Real Estate in Hamburg, Germany. The title (Paris Plus Grand) is in French and means "Paris Larger".
