Can we have a round of all La Defense projects at this point in the thread, with some renders? I can't remember all of them.

Finaly?

We have had non-stop projects (on a european scale) for more than a year now...

I think I'll have to make a big post tonight with all the projects for LD: CB31, Generali, GAN2, AIR2, D2, Carpe Diem, Phare, Majunga, PB22, Signal, Ministry of Public work, etc...

12 new skyscrapers projects (150m+) in less than a year, with 3 to five "supertalls", not too bad.

Still how many of them will get built eventually?

Possibly all! We don't have many exemples of unbuilt project in LD (except the TSF, of course)...

I know that you're someone tremendeously pessimistic, but there's no project in LD threatened by any NIMBYs or any other association, and we have countless articles about companies wanting to invest in LD.

Bnmaddict, you forgot to mention two things about these two PB22 towers. First of all they have been proposed, Foncière des régions group wish to build them in replacement of an older and shorter tower that would be destroyed, but the project hasn't been approved yet. Secondly, their height should be approx. 210-220m (700 ft) and 150-160m (500 ft).

As for the total number of skyscrapers that will be built in La Défense, there is an article in Le Figaro today in which Bernard Bled, the director of La Défense Authority (EPAD) says that in total there will be 18 to 26 towers built (15 to 20 will replace derelict towers, such as Generali Tower for instance, and 3 to 6 will be built on currently empty lots such as tour Phare for instance).

At the moment there are 13 towers taller than 150m in La Défense, so according to what Bernard Bled says the number will almost treble when the La Défense regeneration plan is over.

Oh, Bernard Bled also said that the new architect contest launched last Monday for the tour Signal is "set without limitations" and that the tour Signal could be taller than 300 meters.

Here is the article for those who can read French:

You should update the 1st post in this thread. That's what I do for the London thread. Much easier for people to find all the info.

Yep, it should make this thread more popular too. It's much better being able to see evrything on the first page

What exactly are they replacing? Any pics?
