I haven't been on this forum long, but I've been here long enough to know that you'd say that

I believe London doens't have THE BEST in the entire world... but its getting up there with the big boys.

What I DO know is that London is the best City in the world in general - the skyline now adds to this.[/QUOTE]

Why do Londoners have the tendency to make themselves ridiculously? London is ok but there are far more livable cities in the world. London is too crowded and too expensive, got crappy weather and big brother is always watching you. Maybe you should travel a bit and then you will see really beautiful cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Berlin, Rome, Barcelona, Rio...
Sorry for being off topic but Londoners are sometimes so ignorant that I had to say this.
btw. this building is very nice and suits London perfectly.

I have travelled... I have been to many Cities around the world.

No where is perfect and I certainly appreciate that London has its errors.

I adore many Cities - but London is special to me. I dont expect everyone to think the same as me, just as if I wouldn't expect every man to find one woman in the world attractive... but let's face it, London is up there.

I think it's because London is always evolving, changing, developing. It always has something new and something to do. It has beauty on every street whether new or old.

Thats the way I see it. I guess we are just passionate about our City...?

...is that a bad thing?

I too have travelled and was in Sydney for the second time just 2 months ago. London for me has more than any other city I have ever visited. It is not always the best at what it has to offer, it's just it has more. I could rant on and list the huge variety that London offers but there is no need for that, most visitors to London would know that. I know the weather is not always great but I guess that is why we have 6 international airports.

I hate to have to explain the meaning of the word opinion to you...having a subjective opinion that something is the best does not make someone ignorant just because you happen to disagree with it.

So who's actually being ignorant here?

Why do you have to even comment? You don't have any positive input in any London threads yet you stalk them constantly and then write at the first chance to bash the place and it's citizens. Grow up.

I think those are great pictures. I'm still unsure on how the cities skyline is going to play out if i'm honest but the more it grow upwards i'm sure it will all fall into place eventually.

It's an absolute beauty. There might be more impressive buildings like Shanghai Tower, but this is certainly the classiest looking imo.

Those pictures are absolutely stunning. Construction is really coming along well.

How far to go till all of the cladding is up?

Slightly old images but they show you where exactly the building is located and how it's surrounding areas look like. Photos credit to Lumberjack

I think the architectural lighting design of this skyscraper will be pretty awesome when it's completed.
