most parts of central and east london have been dominated by many cranes for many years now. a lot of them are being used in building lowrise office buildings.

They aren't that impressive at all really I'm afraid. It was too dark (about 8-9PM) and I only had my Samsung Galaxy S3. I would recommend it though... drinks are expensive (best part of £10 each), and the service itself is.. okay. But the experience is well worth it. Great views - especially toward St.Pauls and a good close of view of the Leadenhall building.

If one does go try and book a table looking South Side, as these are the immediate tables as you enter and are normally already taken. From this side you can see The Leadenhall, The Walkie Talkie, The Shard, Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast etc etc. Very good.

The Shard is impressive. Probably my favourite skyscraper. Anyway, although i love recent London developments, i think it is somehow being orwellised. The Shard reminds a bit of the love ministry in orwell's 1984.

Excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean by "Orwell" and "Orwellised"? O_o

It means sinister and authoritarian looking. There was a tall pyramid shaped building in George Orwell's book 1984, which depicted a future Britain under a fascist government.

Very observant.

I'm not sure what these are... I didn't think there was such a thing on the render? I may be wrong though. IMO The Leadenhall would be brilliant for some cool lighting effects.

Gorgeous photo. I cannot get over how good this looks. I cannot wait for it to have it's bigger brother shoot up - The Pinnacle. The Skyline will look solid.

The Leadenhall has been vital for the London skyline.

Imagine if this tower was built in Paris, it would look very stand out.
