This is probably my favorite Tower in Europe, if not the world! So very elegant.

This is very true... but look at Canary Wharf in London! It's another financial district with some of Europe's tallest buildings - many of which are 'boxy' and cube-like, but still beautiful. London is very diverse.

City Of London skyline seriously looks like it is from thirty years in the future. Not the tallest, but arguably one of the most cohesive and innovative skylines in the world.

Great tower and yes, the London Skyline is clearly N°1 in western Europe.

This is very true. Especially with the shapes and what not. Incredibly diverse. London has a beautiful skyline and it will only get better.

GREAT photo's Lumberjack. I love the Leadenhall building. Cannot wait to see the towers finished.

@ lumberjack
I was just pining for some of your photos from London. So sneaked a look into this thread. It is actually good to see you are still taking awesome shots like you did before. Happy New Year to you and to all those who's bothered to read this comment.

It appears prominently in the TFL investment campaign poster as part of the eclectic cluster of London icons:

That's a brilliant picture! I love it. The Leadenhall Building is becoming more and more popular with people in the UK, Europe, and even the world.

I seriously hope that once it's completed it has a good lighting system for the evenings. Similar to the lights on St.Georges Wharf tower.

I agree Bligh... I think the ultimate lighting scheme plays a big part in how the building is perceived by the public... Photographers love taking skyline photographs at night, so the buildings really need to be aesthetically performing 24/7... I work a stones throw from the Leadenhall Building and have been very impressed with how it has developed... It won't be for everyone, but I think it is a marvellous tower for the City. Really looking forward to having a closer look once the ground area is open to the public. - G

I love just about everything that Richard Rogers designs. His buildings make a serious contribution to the world of architecture, and yet there is a certain whimsical quality to them. I love that he isn't afraid to use colour -- unlike so many other architects. He also likes to show how the "innards" of a building work, and in a way that not only doesn't detract from the beauty of the design, but actually enhances it. Does anyone know of any other significant Rogers' buildings that are currently under construction?
