I knew this tower's lobby wouldn't just be left out in the open.

Well if I'm honest, I can understand why - afterall it would be a security issue and would cost the building more money on security etc.

"A skyscraper assembled like a giant Lego set":

Cool American article about the construction of the Leadenhall Building. Looks very good.

It's surprising that this is being aired in the US before the UK unless I'm mistaken.

Holy shiznit. The genius that went into engineering this building is incredible! This building is much more than just a wedge shaped skyscraper.. It's groundbreaking on so many aspects.

I really have.. I have been intrigued by London skyscrapers since the gherkin was erected. The design of that building is revolutionary. It seems to me that there is a well thought out master plan for how modern skyscrapers should be incorporated into London's historic skyline in a way that they don't appear haphazard. I do love the design of leadenhall, and the walkie talkie is damn cool looking too. I also think the shard has one of if not the most glamorous crowns of any building built in this century.

Well it's great to see someone such as yourself taking good interest. It's nice to see mate.

THAT PICTURE IS AMAZING.

The Skyline from the South is remarkable. Does anyone know where that picture was exactly taken?

That's part of the design. It's the Richard Rogers style.

I asked the same question a few months back. No - BUT I believe that at night-time they will be light up which would be a stunning visual effect.

Any idea when the interior will be finished? I'd love to see the lobby when I'm in London this summer.
