Using explosives looks fast, but preparations and cleaning the site after takes a lot of time too.

you cant see such a formwork anywhere cuz thats the "new wave of british heavy metal" work (if you dunno the meaning search on the internet)

just a quick question to anybody who might know... I'm not sure if they even do it in this kind of bottom-up demolition, but why during some demo's do they constantly spray the buildings with water?

I think it's to prevent dust and other particles from spreading onto other buildings. The water makes it stick.

Yep - especially when there is lots of cutting being done, i think it's twofold - to keep the dust down, and to help lubricate the cutting process.
