No, it was a flat site. This building has no core!

Shouldn't this be moved to Skyscrapers instead of Proposed Skyscrapers? On the London forum it's been moved to the construction forum, so.....

Oh that's probably because you guys are all enthusiastic and stuff. They're preparing the construction site and digging so we call that preparation works over here

Today there has been more activity on the site than at any time since the project was put on hold. There is a crawler crane on site, trucks are coming in and out with all sorts of huge tubes and there are at least 20 people inside those gates that have been closed for far too long.

No pics unfortunately, iphones and work PC's don't mix. From my sneaky vantage point by pressing floor 12 in one of the lifts by the Lloyds Building, the whole area is becoming a bit of a hive of activity, The Pinnacle over the way also appears to have stepped up again, for those who have never been to the area, the two buildings are very close together.

Is The Pinnacle the blue structure that you can see rising in the photos? (see 2nd photo by chest) If so they are really close together!

A few months ago I thought this building didn't stand a chance of being built for quite a while and yet here we are, talking about this under construction.

The design is fantastic.
Even though it's not London's tallest it will be one of the most significant in the future skyline.

I'm so happy the constructions are starting.
