I know that's the reason, but I didn't like the design of it. They could have made it more beautiful.

He (PBUH) said two brothers in the arab region will compete for the tallest in the world. examples of this is either within dubai itself or dubai against jeddah.

the burj al bait is beutiful but the location is absolutely ridiculous i dare say. and the render of the tiered approach is very useful in terms of praying space but do they really need to build towers besides it?

I'm very small to perdict when will be the end of the world n how, Signs we thought r have come n gone. Its all on the very power to decide who had decided al along. To the tower, I feel is needed to accommodate all the people who r growing every year with so many people affording the pilgrimage.

I'm a bit confused about the decision to build such a massive structure close to the Mecca.

Its just businness: flats overviewing the kabaah can be sold at very high price, so the higher you build the more you earn

That's what is all about

Its name is "Abraj Al-Bait" or "King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project for The Two Holy Mosques"

It is clear from the name

That means that will be invested to improve the area and so to increase the value of this project.
As I said before is just businness.

Why do you like to argue? which area are you talking about? In simple words "It is a direct endowment to the two holy mosques only" inshallah (God Willing).

It is not for the surrounded area. It is for the mosques themselves (Operation, Maintenance & Expansions).

Very Clear

Fro the holy QURAN

(26) And proclaim to mankind the Hajj (pilgrimage). They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they will come from every deep and distant (wide) mountain highway (to perform Hajj).[] (27) That they may witness things that are of benefit to them (i.e. reward of Hajj in the Hereafter, and also some worldly gain from trade), and mention the Name of All‚h on appointed days (i.e. 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th day of Dhul-Hijj‚h), over the beast of cattle that He has provided for them (for sacrifice) (at the time of their slaughtering by saying: Bismillah, Wall‚hu-Akbar, All‚humma Minka wa Ilaik). Then eat thereof and feed therewith the poor who have a very hard time.
