Thank U for the diagram, Culwulla... good to have one for this mega-project!

Although according to the render on Wikipedia, the setback at 360m looks smaller (affecting only the back side) and there's a pronounced overhang near 400m. So the clock part (not the clock itself) should appear bigger, and the spire a bit fatter, IMO.

thanks, ill make refinements. but gee there some big errors on the wiki page.
like-
clock diametre =80m?? try 40m..
height of clock= 530m? try 430m.
also can someone tell me which tower is what, so i can amend diagram.
thanks.
this complex is starting to really impressive. you forget that if burj dubai didnt exist, THIS tower would be WTB!! also 2nd tallest self supported structure in world behind Guangzhous tower.
just really impressive structure!!!
VRS-yes it onloy has 76 floors but roof i think is below clock or 400m high, so they must be huge floors.4m at least.

The middle building looks very similar to Big Ben clock in London. Just a little bigger:

Nah, that's a bit general don't you think?

Why not just compare it to this:

You should not really compare this clock to big ben in any way or form. Otherway you could say my new 2009 Porsche is much faster then your 1930 Ford Model T. But the Model-T was a real Revolution, which changed the world forever, and the new Porsche is not, just great

It was not that dumb. The comparsion was obviosly aiming for defame big ben. You cannot compare the possibilities and challenges in design, architecture and engineering of today to 1848, where it was even a big problem to build a "normal clock" wich works correct. And please dont to put this comment on a level with the comment by jx. I don't want to provocate anybody. I just talk about a clock and I don't care about who build this clock and where this clock is build

Details of the red clouded area:

Note: Color of Windows glass is green not blue (the blue color was an old proposal).

What is this area? Is it an area to pray? Almost like an elevated section of the Mosque? Really like the tents design, quite traditional, yet modern.
