For others making that comparison, I would ask that you keep in mind that what makes Vegas Vegas is the gambling, drinking, and legalized prostitution (in the outskirts), not the buildings. Buildings are buildings and just because these towers are tall and are made of brick, cement, steel, glass, etc like the ones in Vegas (and other buildings in cities all over the world such as NYC, Chicago, HK, etc) does not make them akin to each other. They were built for completely different purposes. These towers were built to accommodate and facilitate worshipers from all over the world to Islam's holiest place. Revenue from this project will also help fund the foundation that maintains the Holy Mosque. I know this will not stop the comparisons so...carry on..
