"According Alarcbi length of the structure of concrete from the main tower 662 meters"
It may mean the complete structure of concrete not only overground height, that could include underground floors and even foundation.

"The Makkah Royal Clock Tower will be made up of 662 metres of concrete structure and a 155-metre crescent-topped metal spire, Mohammad Al Arkubi said at a press conference in Dubai. Combined, the two parts of the tower in Makkah would be only roughly 11 metres shorter than Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower at 828 metres."

Observatory could be useless because of light pollution and I don't speak about the albedo of the site of the Kabaa may reflect more light to the sky.

As I said before, that was a mistake and for sure he did not mean it. I believe this is the height above sea level.

277 meters above sea level + 595 meter height is 872. Even then the math is off, and if we started quoting building height by 'above sea level' then Mexico City has some VERY tall buildings! Denver Colorado is 5280 feet (1609 meters) above sea level plus the height of a building....silly.

It's a lunar observatory, to study the moon (on which the Muslim calendar is based). I doubt there would be that much light pollution that it would be a problem.

ya, that is silly. because even a single story building in Lapaz, Bolivia, would then be taller than 4000 meters in those terms.

Lol Don't forget the permanent base camp on the Mount Everest! And here in Amsterdam we would have negative heights for our buildings then .

Yes ! That's it ! And Bouddhism temples for few of them would have a height of 8000m.... LOL.

The building in itself, just it, without its envoironment, gives us its height, just like that !!!

lol guys, I said it was a mistake and sure he did not mean it.

maybe he will apologize soon and correct it since already the concrete structure has been completed and it is almost 400M height.

Now the work on steel structure started and almost astronomy 2 has been completed.

That silly person caused a serious problem to the developer and I believe that the developer of the project should announce the final height 591M officially to avoid such silly rumors.
