he also said that the height from the bottom of the clock to the top of the crescent would be 251 meters

but he also said that it will make the height of the building total 601 meters.

now the question is, whats the real height of the clock? is it 400 meter as said before and the rendering shows? or is it rather 601-251=350 meters?

The worst reporter I've ever heard. Just listen to his way of standard arabic, he's trying very hard, but it doesn't suite him.

I read in the news that they are testing one of the four clocks today. It's the only one that's ready.

I really like the massive scale of the building, hard to believe its almost 600 meters tall by now

What I however dislike is the clock at night time. With the green lights it looks more like a building that would fit perfectly in Las Vegas or a Disneyland like environment. In my opinion it would fit better if they would use something more subtle. :/

Yes, us muslims steal everything. No go back to your troll-cave and cry about that!

(ripped-off scientific and mathematical principles). Nice indirect way to release some of what this building makes you feel.

Ironic statement to end a completely off-topic post with.

i get that it is IMPOSSIBLE for this thread to be on topic, mostly because the building is in Makkah.
Islamophobia rules mind of many people in the west, this building being in Makkah is enough for them to hate it. i am sure if it was in London or Chicago, the views will be totally different.
