It looks impressive - very different. Must be one of the biggest clocks in the world.

Watch these clips, some of the buildings were directly behind Abraj Albait. They use a big chain not explosives. Be aware, in one clip, the falling building killed some people.

going off latest photo from higazza. steel frame now has reached base of spire which is 508m high! (red light)
hotel now equal 2nd tallest skyscraper in world!

Absolutely amazing to see a CHAIN do that to a building. Probably the most ingenious way to take something down.
